To turn a fraction into a percentage you need to divide the numerator by the denominator to get the decimal. Then times the decimal by 100 to get the percentage.

**1 divided by 4 = 0.25. Times 0.25 by 100 to get a percentage = 25%**

__Turn a percentage to a fraction__

To turn a percentage into a fraction you need to take off the percent sign from your percentage. And write the number as a fraction over 100. If you can simplify it, but if you can’t then you have your answer. Here is an example of how to turn a percentage into a fraction:

**For example: Turn 20% into a fraction**

**20% = 20/100**

**Simplify 20/100 = 1/5**
