A Bad Day In Space

“Oww,” yelled Captain George as he stubbed his toe getting into the solar shower.  He knew then that it was going to be a bad day.

Suddenly, a panicky voice (it was Samson, the engineer) screamed through the loud speaker.

“Captain! Chloe has spotted a massive mile-wide meteor shower coming our way!”

Instantly, forgetting his throbbing toe, George jumped into his spacesuit and raced up to the command room.

“How long have we got Chloe?”

“Ten seconds Captain,” Chloe shouted in a dark sad voice. “Brace yourself.”

Through the huge window,Captain George could see the cluster of enormous rocks heading towards the Voyager.

“10-9-8…” started Chloe, as Engineer Samson burst into the command room.

“…7-6-5…” she continued, as Captain George grabbed onto a big metal chair.

“…4-3-2…” Chloe yelled at the top of her voice as the largest meteor filled up Voyager’s huge window.

The gigantic meteor crashed into the spaceship Voyager and everything and everyone on board was smashed into a million tiny pieces.
